Founded in the 1920s, the Evansville Civic Theater is a community theater which encourages audience participation. The theater puts on contemporary and classic works, from "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" to the "Drawer Boy," and also hosts educational programs for children. It is located in Evansville, a few blocks east of Lamasco Park.
