One of the best-preserved Native American sites in the country, Angel Mounds State Historic Site contains both historical ruins and modern exhibits. Offering numerous fun and educational programs for children, as well as festivals and other cultural events, the site is an exciting place for all ages to learn about regional Native American history. Located just north of the border with Michigan on the Ohio River, the site is just southeast of Washington Square Mall, the oldest indoor mall in Indiana.
